Faculty Creates Exquisite Sculptures and Exemplifies “Craft as a Verb”

This year's student fashion show, "The Fashion Line Up" which took place on Saturday, June 18, was a smashing success and the faculty and staff at The Art Institute of California, San Francisco would like to thank everyone who made it possible. It was an unforgettable evening and we are so proud of all our students. This year's show focused on the creative interpretation of designers who break traditional laws of fashion in order to custom design their own rules. The Art Institute of California, San Francisco was fortunate to have three fashion industry luminaries judge the students' designs. They were: locally-based designer, Bacca da Silva; Angela Medlin who designs for North Face; and Joseph Domingo, a San Francisco-based clothing designer. Read more...
